The city of New York is asleep. It’s streets filled with citizens laying on the sidewalk, cars running still until they run out of fuel. The people of the city appear to have fallen into a comatose-like, unresponsive though steady state. Airports and trainstations are overcrowded with people returning to the city, recieving a cold welcome, as they realize something is very wrong.
The city was quarantined several hours after the incident occurred as a cautionary measure.
People who returned to the city in the few hours between the incident and the quarantine, including myself, are now left in the city stuck with whatever is going on.
Officials state there is no confirmation on what caused the city-wide coma, and we are only left to speculate if this was a natural occurrence or a man-made incident.
Action has been taken to care for the citizens now laying motionlessly everywhere in the city. The ones outside are being moved to shelter from the weather. Others are looking for ways to possibly wake up the citizens of New York from their slumber, although it is beginning to look like all we can do for now, is wait.
